iFLYTEK Launches Agent OS and Xingchen TaaS: Agents Move From Model Calls to Business Loops
At the 2026 Global 1024 Developer Festival that opened Oct 22, iFLYTEK's open platform launched Agent OS for agent teamwork, APA for workflow automation and the XFYUN CLI developer workbench, alongside the debut of the Xingchen TaaS platform.

What happened
The tools were unveiled at the developer-ecosystem launch held alongside the festival, each with a distinct role: Agent OS organizes teamwork and schedules tasks across agents, APA turns recorded business workflows into executable automation skills, and XFYUN CLI gives developers a command-line workbench. The company positions the three as the development and teamwork base for its agent ecosystem.
Xingchen TaaS sits on the Xingchen MaaS base and combines model scheduling, an agent engine, knowledge engineering, tool orchestration and runtime governance, linking model capability, industry knowledge and business workflows. According to the company, its application layer covers simultaneous interpretation, digital employees, office productivity, knowledge Q&A and marketing, with industry packages for enterprise services, finance, healthcare, education and energy.
Also unveiled at the festival was the device-cloud Spark X2.6, with its context window expanded to one million tokens and the X2.6-4B on-device model open-sourced alongside. The company says its open platform now counts 11.87 million developers, with enterprise developers using large models up 104% year on year; the 2026 AI developer contest drew 52,120 teams from 15 countries and 351 cities, a record scale.
Key facts
- Agent OS and APA form the enterprise agent capability system: the former handles organizational teamwork and task scheduling, the latter executes business-process automation, moving AI from model calls toward end-to-end business loops.
- Xingchen TaaS's middle layer covers model scheduling, an agent engine, knowledge engineering, tool orchestration and runtime governance, built on Xingchen MaaS, which supports Spark and several open-source models.
- For agent development, the open platform also launched the XFYUN CLI workbench; for smart hardware, the company opened the SpaceMind IoT protocol so devices from different brands can connect and work together.
- Pandaily reported the open-platform launch covers more than 700 AI capabilities; the robot platform supports up to five people speaking at once, with the company claiming 90.1% speech-recognition accuracy in strong noise — company figures, not independently verified.
- The venue was the 2026 iFLYTEK Global 1024 Developer Festival, which opened Oct 22 in Beijing; Spark X2.6, Agent OS and Xingchen TaaS all debuted at this edition of the festival.
Why it matters
the launch shifts the focus from the model itself to delivery — Agent OS handles teamwork, APA handles execution, Xingchen TaaS covers the full chain from model to industry solution — backed by an open-platform developer base of 11.87 million.
