What happened

Pigment announced via an official press release a $250M Series E round at a $2.3B valuation. The new capital will accelerate its move toward autonomous planning, powered by its proprietary, patent-pending compute engine Graphite and the AI agents that run on it.

“Enterprise planning will change more in the next few years than it has in the last thirty. Legacy tools are being left behind, and the world's most advanced AI companies now run their planning on Pigment.”

— Pigment co-founders Eléonore Crespo and Romain Niccoli

Key facts

  1. Lead and participants: Led by the Scaleup Europe Fund managed by EQT; participation from WIL (World Innovation Lab), existing investors Greenoaks, ICONIQ, IVP and Meritech; and a planned investment from NVIDIA.
  2. Revenue milestone: Annual recurring revenue surpassed $100M earlier this year, once again doubling year-over-year; the company says 85% of new metrics in Pigment are now created by an agent.
  3. Customer list: Customers include Danone, DirecTV, Siemens, Snowflake, ServiceNow and Unilever; Anthropic, ElevenLabs and Uber use it as the reasoning runtime for enterprise data; L'Oréal recently selected Pigment to replace its salary planning tool for 95,000+ employees globally.
  4. Use of funds: Significantly accelerate R&D and engineering team expansion around the Graphite engine: Graphite already lets thousands of AI agents and people work on the same governed model at once, scaling to hundreds of billions of data points with deterministic, fully traceable results.

Why it matters

a $2.3B valuation against just-over-$100M in ARR sets a new pricing benchmark for the enterprise AI planning category.
