Meta Quietly Launches AI Outfit App Style Sketch in Indonesia, Singapore and Thailand
Meta has launched the AI outfit app Style Sketch without an announcement: the app connects to Instagram to build a virtual closet from photos users have already posted and suggest outfit combinations, and it is currently available only in Indonesia, Singapore and Thailand.

What happened
The app was first spotted and screenshotted by social media consultant Matt Navarra on Oct 28, and TechCrunch verified the iOS and Android listings the next day; Meta did not respond to TechCrunch's request for comment and has not said whether it plans a wider rollout.
The features center on clothes users already own: the app connects to an Instagram account and registers garments from photos already posted, building a virtual closet, or lets users add pieces manually by photo, short video or camera-roll upload; it then suggests outfit combinations matched to the user's style, and users can also pick a specific item and get fresh outfit ideas built around it; according to the app description, outfits can be tried on a realistic model matched to the user's body shape and skin tone.
Trips are a second use case: after users enter a destination, trip length and planned activities, the app gives a day-by-day outfit plan that takes the weather forecast and itinerary into account; similar products already exist, including startup Alta's wardrobe-digitizing tools and Google Photos features that turn clothing photos into digital closets, and TechCrunch notes Meta's edge lies more in Instagram integration than in the novelty of the idea itself.

Why it matters
Meta has pushed another consumer AI app into three Southeast Asian markets with no announcement, with Instagram photos as the virtual closet's data source.
